This month KBRT is celebrating Thru the Bible with J. Vernon McGee. Vernon McGee's case, you start a global radio ministry and run it for more than 23 years. After retiring as Senior Pastor of Church of the Open Door in Los Angeles, Dr. McGee began hosting a daily radio Bible teaching program in 1967 to keep himself busy.
