Bob grew
up in the Worldwide Church of God, which at the time
was a religious cult, before being saved at age 19.
At 47, he has been married 24 years and has had one
daughter and 6 sons. On Mother's Day, May 12, 2002,
his daughter and oldest child, Colleen unexpectantly
collapsed in Bob's arms and died instantly at age
17. Many listeners have supported Bob through cards,
letters, e-mail and prayer, through which the family
has been extremely grateful. This has made him more
determined than ever to fearlessly defend the faith,
reminding listeners that good times or bad, God is
in charge, not us. Bob came to WMUZ in November 2000
from the Christian Coalition in Washington D.C.
where he served as National Press Secretary. He has
been quoted in newspapers throughout the country and
appeared on various news, radio and television
shows, such as Christian Television Network and
Inside Edition. He was born and raised in Columbus,
Ohio and has lived in Michigan off and on since
1988.
