Shannyn has been on the air for all
of her working career-beginning at the age of 15 in her home town of
Iron Mountain Michigan.
 After
graduating with a BFA in Acting from Wright State University Shannyn
worked as an on-air producer, side-kick and announcer, as well as a
company member with Cincinnati Children's Theatre and a local magazine
and newspaper writer.
She moved to Detroit in 1995 and
spent the next 5 years of her radio career as the Midday Traffic
reporter of WWJ and a part-timer announcer for 93.9 the River and then
Q95.5.
 Her
radio management experience includes serving as the Program Director of
Ann Arbor's 107.1 and the Asst. PD/Music Director of Oldies 104.3 WOMC.
She's spent nearly 5 years with Greater Media, working primarily with
Magic 105.1.
Shannyn continues to work as a
freelance writer and stand-up comic. She's a wife and mom of the dearest
family in the world and is thrilled to join Jon Culbert and her new
radio family at WMUZ. |
